What our customers say
I went to see Time4Sport after being informed my son was classed as over weight by a school letter after having his height and weight measured. The team assessed our current food and exercises habits and set a number of progressive goals to work on. With the additional resources/guidance around each goal we really managed to turn my son’s weight around and we were actually discharged after 12 weeks. The team were always at the end of the phone or email if we required extra support – it really helped and gave us so much motivation, information and guidance.
My son has made positive changes with the valuable help of Time4Sport. Many months after he is now at a healthy weight, engaging in more active play and is eating a lot healthier, especially at snack times.
Time4Sport were introduced to me by the school nurse as Kodi was measured and was over weight. The Time4Sport team have been fantastic from day one, helping me understand sugar and fat content, healthy breakfasts, etc. I’ve had a number of face to face meetings with the team where they have always been polite, professional and very helpful. Kodi is under CAMHS for behavior issues and the team always took time to explain to her why we need to keep fit and healthy. They encouraged us to go on walks and adventures which helped me and Kodi bond more, rather than sitting around at home. We have had so much support from the team, even during lockdown with video calls and Facebook videos to follow. I’ve learnt a lot, not just for Kodi but for me too. I feel confident in self-managing our diet/lifestyle.
Aaron suffers with his mobility and requires a walking frame. On the first call Time4Wellbeing suggested some ideas to get Aaron moving more with some frames around the house and a rail in the garden. Aaron agreed some exercise targets and has done his best (weather depending!) to stick to them. Aaron suffers with the textures of some foods, many of which are fruits. The whole family have agreed to start creating some smoothies to increase their fruit intake. This has really worked with Aaron having two of these creations each day. The evidence has been seen in his last visit to the hospital. His walking has improved loads. The specialist reporting his legs and hips are in line and he walked unaided for his record distance. We are really happy with the service and Aaron has really taken to it.
Jacob has made massive progress, losing 10kg. He is looking much healthier and has more energy. Through the support from the T4W team, the whole family have made positive changes to their health by making better food choices.
Mum felt that Amelia had a good balanced diet, however she struggled with physical activity levels.
After the initial assessment the Time4Wellbeing team set a number of goals to ensure the family increased physical activity. This included family walks and swimming. Since the family joined the programme, Mum now feels Amelia has gained confidence. Is more active and moving towards a healthier weight.
