Applicants must hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE) qualification

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory safeguarding and pre-employment checks.

Pay: £14.50 per hour
Location: Baddeley Green
Hours: Baddeley Green Vacancy: 13.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2:45 pm–5:30 pm (term time only). Additional hours may be available during school holidays, working on our holiday camps.

As an Early Years Educator, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the after-school club, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can enjoy free play and participate in a variety of planned activities. You will lead the provision, manage and support the staff team on site, ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and behaviour, and oversee the smooth running of each session. You’ll use your creativity to deliver exciting activities—from arts and crafts, games and board games to LEGO and experiments—while adapting your approach to meet the needs of children of different ages, ensuring every session is inclusive, enjoyable, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation of the setting, ensuring sessions run safely, smoothly and in line with company policies and procedures.

Manage, support and supervise the staff team on site, delegating responsibilities and providing guidance throughout each session.

Take responsibility for the quality of the provision, ensuring activities are engaging, inclusive and meet the needs of all children.

Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements are met, maintaining accurate records where required.

Act as the main point of contact for parents, carers, schools and the Time4Sport management team during sessions.

Be a key holder and have the responsibility to lock up the school facility.

Essential Skills & Experience

Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE)

Experience working in a childcare setting

Experience of leading or supervising a team within an early years or childcare setting.

Confident in managing the day-to-day operation of an early years or wraparound childcare provision.

Paediatric First Aid trained
